Backflow Prevention and Fire Services

HTS has been the Backflow Prevention Association for over six years. We offer an expert audit service in backflow prevention identifying any leakages in the internal system whether it is containment, zone or individual protection.

We can assess and advise the client on the appropriate device that is suitable for the development to ensure the integrity of the reticulation system. At the clients discretion the report can be followed up by the installation and field testing of the recommended device. The test results then lodged with the client as a proof of their compliance.

HTS have also been involved with the replacement of below and above ground level fire services whether it's a new installation or existing system that require update to conform with Australian standards. This may involve the installation of new booster/hydrant points or hose reels to comply with MFB and CFA requirements. We will advise you of the most economical and practical solution to the problem.

Construction

HTS has an advantage over other contractors in the delivery of projects as we have a strong in house multi disciplined trade section. This allows us to provide timely cost effective technical solutions to our client's problem, plus the ability to then implement them in a seamless manner using our own field staff.

Our approach facilitates a great deal of flexibility and speed to adopt the required scope changes, resulting in effective delivery of the project.

HTS has the internal capability for total project delivery. Our experienced Operations Manager is responsible for workforce management, the review and approval of major purchases and sub-contractors performance.

Jet Drain Cleaning and CCTV Camera Inspections

Our fleet of service vehicles includes a truck mounted jet machine. This equipment produces a high pressure water jet that removes the most stubborn blockage in drain pipes. It is also capable of removing tree roots from underground pipes and pits.

The CCTV camera provides a comprehensive understanding of the internal condition of the drain pipe. Following the inspection a report is produced to advise the client if any remedial action is required.

Life Cycle Audit

We are in the position to provide this unique audit that give building owners/managers an insight about the condition of their services such as internal and external pipe works, cisterns, flushometers, hot water systems and water tanks.

The audit also includes report on the condition of roofs, gutters and drainage pipes to ensure that the building's integrity is not breached. Our report is backed up with photographic evidence from our digital and CCTV cameras.

To complete the report an approximate life expectancy of the asset is enclosed.

Plant Hire

We have our own 1.7 ton excavator with auger that can be hired out with operator.

In line with Water Authority requirements we have the capability to monitor and identify water leakages within a development.

Other specialized equipment includes Confined Space safety gear, generator, compressor, mobile scaffolding, surface compactor and many more.

Preventative Maintenance

Maintenance contracts can be customized and programmed to suite the individual client's requirement and budget. We provide the following Preventative Maintenance programs that ensure the longevity of the assets.

Reactive Maintenance

HTS provides a 24/7 service to its customers. Out of hours service is communicated through either by pager or mobile phone. For out of hour service the Duty Personnel is backed up by a Duty Manager who monitors all incoming requests. Response to these calls is always within agreed KPIs.

During normal working hours the work is dispatched by the Works Coordinator with the aid of our GPS vehicle locating system. This system pinpoints and directs the nearest vehicle to the emergency work site.

Steel Fabrications and Metal Roofs

HTS has a fully equipped workshop where we can fabricate steel pipe support brackets, cabinets and any specialized equipment that may be specified by the client to complete the task.

We have a number of plumbers who specialize in the repair and/or replacement of metal roofs. Our service also includes the provision and installation of new metal roofs and associated chattels such as box gutters, spouting and down pipes.

Trade Wastes

HTS can supply and install grease interceptor traps as required by the relevant water authority and assist with the lodgment of trade waste agreement between the client and the water authority.

Water Conservation Audit and Tank Installation

HTS plumbers are "Green" plumbers who have completed the necessary courses to give advice on water conservation. We can undertake a detailed water conservation audit to outline areas that require improvements. The information provides the client with a number of options and associated costs to make the development a "green" efficient site.

We have considerable experience in the installation of rainwater tanks. Our service includes the design and installation of gravity or pumped systems (if required) and connections to the usage areas.
