Hydrotech Services is a member of the Backflow Prevention Association. We offer an expert audit service to identify potential backflow hazards presented by activities carried out on a client’s property.

The audit report will make recommendations as to the installation of appropriate backflow prevention devices to provide individual, zone and containment protection against identified hazards. The audit can be followed up with installation and testing of the recommended devices. Test results will be lodged with the client and water authority as proof of compliance.

Hydrotech Services can also assist with the installation and repair of below and above-ground fire services and works to upgrade existing systems to ensure compliance with Australian Standards. This may involve the installation of new booster/hydrant points or hose reels to comply with FRV and CFA requirements. Our team of experts can provide advice on the most practical and economical solution under the circumstances.

Leaks are often hidden from sight and can cause serious damage if left unrepaired. Hydrotech Services are experts at locating and repairing leaks quickly and effectively.

Using state of the art, non-invasive leak detection tools and techniques we can pin-point the source of a leak quickly and implement targeted rectification measures that minimise damage and disruption and keep costs down.

Our fleet of service vehicles includes a truck-mounted pressure jetting machine. This equipment provides a high-pressure water jet that removes stubborn blockages from drainage pipes. It is also capable of removing tree roots causing blockages in underground pipes and pits.

An on-board CCTV inspection camera can be used to determine the nature of a pipe blockage or to inspect and gain an understanding of the internal condition of the drainage pipework.

An inspection report will be provided to the client together with a recommendation in relation to any remedial work that may be required.

An audit carried out to determine and report on the condition of plumbing assets to ensure that a building’s integrity is not at risk.

An asset life cycle audit can provide building owners/managers information about the condition of essential plumbing services such as internal and external pipework, cisterns, flushometers, hot water systems and water tanks.

The audit report may also include information on the condition of roofs, gutters and stormwater pipes to ensure that a building is not at risk of stormwater damage.

The report will include photographic evidence to support life cycle findings and will conclude with an estimate of asset life expectancies.

We have extensive experience in locating and repairing leaks caused by burst pipework within a development. Our 1.7 tonne and 5 tonne excavators provide excellent capability to quickly expose and repair damaged pipework.

We have ready access to a range of specialised equipment including confined space safety equipment, road saws, surface compactors, generators, compressors, mobile scaffolding and more.

Hydrotech Services provides clients with a 24/7 reactive maintenance service. Response times are kept within agreed timeframes and KPIs.

Work order requests can be communicated to the office electronically or by phone.

The company employs a GPS vehicle locating system that enables efficient scheduling of reactive maintenance workloads and the achievement of tight response times.

An out of hours phone answering and paging service can be called to alert us to emergencies that require immediate attendance.

Regular and routine maintenance of equipment and assets is essential to keep them running properly and to prevent unplanned downtime from unexpected failures. Preventative maintenance programs are an effective way to identify and manage issues before they become larger and more costly problems. Our fully equipped workshop can fabricate pipe support brackets, cabinets, flashings and other specialised components.

We have extensive experience in the installation and repair of metal roofing and gutters and in the design and installation of metal roof flashings.

Our plumbers are also skilled at detecting and repairing roof leaks.

We can supply and install grease interceptor traps as required by the local water authority and assist with lodgement of trade waste agreements between the client and water authority.

By analysing and understanding our clients’ water usage we can reduce water losses and improve water conservation.

Water saving devices can be incorporated into the delivery system. Tanks can be installed to collect rainwater for use in irrigation and sanitary flushing.

Our plumbers are ‘Green Plumbers’ who have completed water conservation training. We can undertake a detailed water conservation audit on a client’s behalf and outline areas where improvements can be made.

We have extensive experience in the installation of rainwater tanks. Our services include the design and installation of gravity fed or pumped systems that efficiently supply stored rainwater to the usage areas.
